The Polo Bear Watch Collection

A celebration of Polo heritage. Drawn from the storied history of four iconic bears, each watch represents a different facet of Mr. Lauren’s own unmatched style

The Nautical Bear

As a young man, Ralph Lauren sought out vintage clothes in Army-Navy surplus stores, reinventing the pieces he found as modern sportswear with a sense of purpose and individuality. Nautical Bear nods to this heritage of maritime style in a naval officer–inspired blazer with a bullion-embroidered insignia

Two combinable straps included

“I’ve always loved Army and Navy uniforms. Their authenticity has a spirit of romance that has always inspired me.”

The Tuxedo Bear

Ralph Lauren’s distinct combination of a double-breasted dinner jacket with denim and cowboy boots—a look he has reinterpreted for formal occasions across the decades of his career—is embodied in the style of Tuxedo Bear

“I have always loved contradiction, blending a tuxedo jacket with a pair of jeans and boots.”

The Bedford Bear

An emblem of the elegance found at Ralph Lauren’s English-inspired manor, set in the rolling hills of the Hudson Valley—where tweed sport coats and riding jodhpurs, as Mr. Lauren wore for a 2007 Town & Country photo shoot, are perfectly at home

Two combinable straps included

“We wanted the spirit of Bedford to evoke England, and yet keep an American touch.”

The Denim Flag Bear

The authenticity of American denim, exemplified by a well-worn jacket, jeans, and the beloved Polo flag jumper—a look Ralph Lauren wore in an iconic 1989 advertisement, photographed at his legendary Colorado ranch

Two combinable straps included

“I like things with utility, purpose, like an old saddle, an old cowboy shirt, an old pair of jeans. They have a timeless spirit.”

Swiss-Made Movement

The stainless steel round cases measure 42 mm by 10.7 mm and include an exhibition case back to make fine details visible—including vertical Côtes de Genève stripes and circular graining, known as Perlage. The timepieces are powered by an automatic, Swiss-made, RL200 caliber movement run at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and feature 26 jewels with an approximate 38-hour power reserve.
